Biography of Ekaterina Bobrova
Ekaterina Bobrova is a famous Russian figure skater, who at the moment often often surprises us all with her bright performances at various international competitions. Her riding style is graceful, and therefore always catches her eye.
Perhaps it is for this reason that in recent years, our heroine has always been accompanied by success. Ekaterina Bobrova is a figure skater, all of whose major victories are yet to come. So, our biographical article on a bright athlete will remain relevant for a long time.
The early years, childhood and the family of Ekaterina Bobrova
Subsequently, it was thanks to their participation that both daughters from the Bobrov family began to engage in professional sports. Sister Katie has made a good career in acrobatic rock and roll. And Catherine herself chose figure skating for herself.
Our today's heroine first appeared in the sports section in 1994, when the four-year-old Katya Bobrova first went on the ice. At first, the girl was engaged in ice dancing as an independent athlete, but subsequently, the trainers advised her to pay attention to pair skating. So, already in 2000, with the filing of Svetlana Alekseeva and Elena Kustarova, Ekaterina Bobrova met her future partner Dmitry Soloviev.
A pair of figure skaters began to appear together at sporting events as early as next year, however, real success for a long time bypassed athletes. Due to constant failures, Catherine and Dmitry repeatedly changed their coaches, and as a result, a long search for the best options brought its fruits. The Moscow couple began to train under the leadership of Alexander Zhulin, and he, in turn, very soon helped the skaters reach a fundamentally different level.

The 2008/2009 season was also quite average in the performance of the Russian pair of skaters. This season, Bobrova and Soloviev were only fourth in the Russian national championship, and therefore did not qualify for the World Cup. Some consolation for the young guys was a performance at the Universiade, in which Ekaterina and Dmitry managed to become fifth. Athletes also took places from the sixth to the fourth at several stages of the International Figure Skating Grand Prix.
Having done the work on the mistakes and having analyzed all of her previous miscalculations, in the 2009/2010 season, Ekaterina and Dmitry entered with full confidence in their abilities. At the Russian Championships, the couple took second place, and at the European and World Championships for the first time managed to get to the top ten.

In particular, Ekaterina Bobrova and Dmitry Soloviev managed to win the European Championship in the 2012/2013 season, as well as win the Finlandia Trophy and Cup of Russia.
Currently, Russian skaters continue to vividly perform at various domestic and international competitions. Coaches and sports professionals predict a great future for the couple. Therefore, new victories remain only a matter of time.

In April, ISU canceled Bobrov’s temporary disqualification due to the low concentration of the drug in the doping test and the long term of its elimination from the body. The pair continued training in the next season.
